A Fully Enclosed Refrigerated Wine Wall
We recently completed a stunning bespoke wine wall project in Gloucestershire. This is a fully enclosed, temperature-controlled feature wine wall designed to hold up to 500 bottles.
It is important to note that this project is a fully enclosed wine wall is our premium structure, creating the perfect environment, often dual environments, to store and display your quality wines.
Client Brief
The client, a collector of fine aged reds, wanted the majority of his collection stored in a climate-controlled environment while maintaining a design that complemented his home’s interior.
Design & Specification
- Capacity: Up to 500 bottles
- Dimensions: Custom built to fit wall space
- Cooling: Fondis ARM15 unit providing stable temperatures between 6°C – 18°C, ideal for long-term storage of red wines
- Material: Walnut, chosen to match existing wall cladding and joinery
- Doors: Pull metal doors in a bronze finish to complement the home’s bronze-framed windows and doors
- Lighting: Full LED package, integrated into the client’s home automation system for smart control
- Additional Features:
- Dedicated sections for magnum bottles
- A central glassware display shelf

As you will see, the shell, racking, and refrigeration system are initially built in our workshop. This ensures quality control, but also reduces the impact of the build at the client property.

The result is a sleek, fully enclosed refrigerated wine wall that combines elegance with functionality. The combination of walnut craftsmanship, bronze detailing, and custom lighting creates a luxurious showcase, while the Fondis system ensures optimal wine preservation.
